A petition will not get Rush Limbaugh off the air. A complaint to the FCC will not do it. A fine and suspension from the air will not do it. The only way to get Rush Limbaugh off the air is to make his show unprofitable for the advertisers on his program. When you boycott their products and write to them and tell them why you will no longer patronize their business as long as they advertise on Rush Limbaugh's program, then you will be on the way to removing Mr. Limbaugh from the airwaves!!!

Though my daughter has full contraceptive coverage through her job, it isn't just about that. It's about all women and the prevailing attitude of utter comtempt coming from the GOP directed at them. That really is the root of all of this.

And even if the more moderate, mainstream among them are not necessarily participants, they are complicit in their lack of condemnation.

However, something about the current political climate on the right seems to have emboldened them to spew their hate all the more vehemently then ever. They encourage people to express anger inappropriately and their audience gets hooked on that release. It's degrading at several levels.

Rush and others like him, would have been gone long ago if he didn't appeal to some segment of society. to a back alley abortion when we were in high school. She ended up having to have a hysterectomy - after she almost bled to death and had a massive infection. It was horrible. When she told me the details of the abortion I had to excuse myself and go throw up.

The reason she had the abortion - she was from the wrong side of the tracks and her boyfriend was the town's dentist's son, who abandoned her when he found out she was pregnant. She was 17 years old.

We aren't married and won't be until everyone has the same rights that we can enjoy (and maybe not even then. we both refuse to obey church or state on this one). So, by extension, I too am a slut and a prostitute because I refuse to procreate on command, and my non-wife and I have made illegitimate whoopie and will continue to do so until long after rush limbaugh is silent at last.
