No One Is Buckling On The Affordable Care Act

Dear hair-on-fire DUers,

Let me get something straight through everyone's heads. NO ONE IS BACKING DOWN.

Perhaps with the exception of a couple of Democrats in blood-red districts(*) there is not a single Democrat anywhere who is backing down on the Tea Party tantrum. Realists agree, if you give in to "do what we want or everybody gets hurt" demands.

Alright? The American Public knows who is throwing a tantrum and who is not. And believe you me, the people on the pragmatist side of the Democratic fence know precisely what will happen if we allow the GOP to get away with being the bomb-throwing irresponsible party. They'll just keep using the same tactic again.

The Party is united on this. Period.

- C.D. Proud Member of the Reality Based Community

(*) A Democratic Congressman from Wyoming?!? - I had no idea such a thing is even possible.

I burn it back every spring. Someone told me it grows back thicker when they do it. It hasn't worked for me yet.

If you'll excuse me, I need to go apply conditioner to my lawn. I don't think I am doing that right either.

The behavior of the Republicans is like that of a wounded animal. They know what the success of the ACA would do to them.

I hope the American Public can see that it is a tantrum, as you say they can.

I'm cautiously optimistic.
