This week's show - All about the Shutdown with frmr House Maj Leader Dick Armey and Bob Cusack

This week on Making Sense with Steve Leser, it's all about the Shutdown. First, I spar with former Republican House Majority Leader and former head of FreedomWorks Dick Armey, then Bob Cusack, Managing Editor of "The Hill" and I will discuss where we go from here to end the shutdown. Of course, we will have our trademark weekly hall of fame and shame regarding those politicians and prominent individuals who made great sense or shameful nonsense, respectively.

The show airs 7pm ET Today at below link and Mon 2pm Pacific Time on @KCAA1050am in the Inland Empire and Los Angeles Area in California

An early heads up for the show of October 20-21, former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson will join me to discuss a wide range of political issues and also his new book that is due out.

was strangely undergoing metamorphosis inside its cocoon all that time, and then it broke out (fully grown and all big and strong) and began rampaging in January 2009.

that cannot stand Ted Cruz. I have no doubt Dick probably loved Jesse Helms too.

He's an untested windbag who has gotten far too big for his britches. He is the subject of a lot of jealousy and anger in the GOP right now. It's just a matter of his enemies figuring out how to bring him down.
