Is that what they want?
The Left always says that...they are ready for a "revolution".
But this time it is different. It is not just the Left that will be screwed. It is across the board. Even the Tea Baggers themselves will get screwed. They are just too fucking stupid to realize it.
People will not put up with this shit.
If the GOP cannot get its head out of its ass, we may have to feed it a bucket of Ex-Lax?

(25,699 posts)Americans are self-domesticated, apathetic and brainless. We absolutely WILL put up with this shit, we've been putting up with it for this long. Oh, maybe there will be protests, but American protest is a weak and anemic thing - do we really think street theater, catchy slogans, and posterboard witticisms are going to change anything? Of course it won't.
Americans could be getting disappeared from bread lines into a unmarked vans, and other Americans would just mill around and bleat a little.

(84,711 posts)and destroy the library and deny their access. But, the movement hasn't gone away. It was an Education Moment for Americans. OWS changed the Dialog from "Class Envy" to "We are the 99%!" And "Look Who the 1% Is!"
It even caused a change in the Media reporting in the Business Community for a long time...until the Bankers like Jamie Dimon and others were let off time and time again with a handslap of a Fine...for their Criminality.
None of those who caused the Banking Meltdown and Austerity in the EuroZone as well as USA have been held accountable. But most Americans know now WHO the "1%" are.
Revolutions aren't often seen until they overwhelm. PTB think they can stop the first actions but the idea grows more people become aware and join....and then WHAM!
We shall see....The next weeks should be interesting.

(84,711 posts)because "no one believes that we will default...and the CR just wasn't important enough."
I await the "Grand Bargain" or "The Grand Betrayal" or the "Kick the Can Down the Road to January" scenario. So that the "TPP and Keystone XLP" can get voted through. THEN they might deal with the Budget and the Debt Ceiling. The fights will start December and go into the New Year with this option of "Do an Extension and that gives us time for more important stuff." (I sure hope I'm wrong on this last option...but, it's been put out there on the Business sites as the option the Business Community would prefer by some of the Power Brokers in the Bankster World.)
