Is Stupidity a Pre-Existing Condition?

Tea Party Senator: Boehner, Cantor Acting ‘Heroically’ To Protect Americans From ‘Harmful’ Obamacare (Video)

“We do have a very united House Republican caucus. We’ve got John Boehner and Eric Cantor acting heroically in order to protect the American people from the harmful effects of Obamacare,” said Lee.

Geez, he makes it sound like they are protecting Americans from a full-blown nuclear attack.

We doubt very seriously that the 800,000-plus Federal employees who are furloughed think of Boehner and Cantor as heroes, nor do the Americans who have waited for years to get health insurance that they have been denied because of pre-existing conditions.

Earlier this week, Utah Republican Gov. Gary Herbert’s former spokeswoman wrote a scathing letter to Lee about his obstructionist and childish actions. Her mother is a breast cancer survivor who cannot get health insurance because of her pre-existing condition.

The true heroes here are the people responsible for passing this health care bill so that those who have been denied coverage for years can now get it. It’s despicable that anyone would call what the Republicans are up to anywhere close to “heroic” when the fact of the matter is that they are afraid that people will like the bill once it is fully implemented and the initial kinks are worked out.

1. What, precisely, are the harmful effects of Obamacare?

The worst thing I've been able to figure out is that some people who are comfortably middle class will have to purchase some level of insurance, which really doesn't sound all that bad.

3. It might be a pre-existing condition but it must be a prerequisite in order to be in the radical RW
