Such a complaint would not work. Legislators are immune from suit if the actions complained of are within the scope of a legislator's official duties. I.e., you can't win in a suit against John Boehner if you're complaining about the way he's doing his job as Speaker of the House.

Or, so I understand.

People do it every day. It's your 1st Amendment right to petition the government for redress of grievances. Just send it to the Attorney General's office by any method you prefer. He'll put it with all of the others. Recycling saves trees, you know.

He vetoed the bill that would have fixed the bridge that collapsed into the Mississippi some years ago. People died because of that. If it were most anyone else he/she would be guilty of negligent homicide.

Your problem is that DOJ has a legal obligation to ignore it.
