Durga Puja is upon us!

Happy Durga Puja, DU!

I'll be in Kolkata (the epicenter of Durga Puja) this weekend taking pictures. Until then, take these:









I promise to go for the best pictures possible this week.

Durga Puja commemorates the victory of the mother goddess over the evil spirit in the form of a water buffalo, Mahishasura. It has become symbolic of the victory of non-violence over violence.
