Another ACA shopping tip... Many of these plans link directly to the provider's benefit page

That has made it easier for me to compare:

A lot of these include "Coverage Examples":

The screenshot I'm including here is for a Humana Silver Cost-sharing policy with an 1800 Deductible for a 43 year old woman and 15 year old son in Texas:

The other thing that I have found is to really research the Provider network. BC/BS has no doctors within 90 miles of my home north of Houston. I found this odd. Other companies had several to choose from. I wonder if more doctors will add on.

$5K to have a baby....with insurance?!?

I had a baby right after I moved to a single-payer country. It was free and they paid my wife 75% of her income for 50 months for maternity leave. That includes optional midwifery, hospital, etc, and all the bells and whistle (minus the foreskin cutting)

To boot, they even snipped me when finished which probably saved the system tons. But I would have to shell out a few grand if I ever wanted to further duplicate my perfection and add another to the 8 billion unique souls exploiting our planet to death
