It is said that Boehner's hold on the Speakership is stronger than ever

Near as I can tell, the suicide caucus really appreciates that he let them kill a few people somewhere and throw away $24 billion and cost America a chunk of GDP and a bunch of jobs for no sane purpose.

He could have denied them their moment. Instead he let them shoot off those incredibly dangerous illegal fireworks until the cops showed up.

He's the neighborhood "cool dad." For teabaggers.

He put Rudy in the game.

He treated them like big boys and gave them a chance to fail.

Heartwarming, I tell you. Just heartwarming.

that there just isn't anybody else to do the job. I do not see how this debacle could make him stronger and I have been hearing the exact opposite all day.
