These fanatics will always have on their agenda to replace the Constitution with a Biblical theocracy. And the GOP will help them for their own reasons. Racism, religious fanatacism, and hatred of our present government are the primary reasons for the shut down. And they still support default. Many tea baggers are also part of this movement.
Taking the country back is a desire to go back to the days when slavery ruled and white conservative christians ruled.

(48,121 posts)We have people in power waiting with baited breath for the end of the world, think they are on a mission from god, and don't use a lick of common sense on some issues because of some idea of a divine right/ideal.
Aid Israel, they are all over that. Aid the poor? Screw that. The poor need to get up and work harder and not get handouts, Israel should get anything we want to give them because if we don't help them it will make god mad.
Idiots.

The Dominionists want control of the U.S. They're scary folks, because they have the firm belief that their deity is on their side, and wants them to be dickheads. Also, they are armed, and that's a dangerous thing. I worry about that group a lot.

beliefs are none of my business BUT when their religion interfers
with my way of life I will comment.
Dominionists will unmercifully disrupt the government...it's a
goal. That should not be allowed. imho
