Look at what a cowardly right-wing a**hole put under my wiper at Target tonight.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this really does happen. How desperately sad must this person's life be that they carry around copies of this in their car, waiting for just the right moment? The funny thing is, when I saw the stickers on their car (anti-ACA, etc.), I was afraid I might come out of the store to find my Obama magnet gone. Of course, this person was too cowardly to wait around to discuss it with me.

I could name at least 50 better things I could do with my time than printing such notes, and carry them around with me, and seek out cars to put them on.

And to sign it "a friend"? Yeah, go Cheney yourself, coward.

I have yet to meet one that wasn't, and I've met many. Even here in SoCal. They're always so incredibly angry. Viscerally so.

I'm surprised that he didn't vandalize your car before he took off. That's what cowards do, as well. But I'm happy that he didn't. At least he had just enough upbringing to respect your property even if he doesn't have the brains and understanding to respect your political views that continue to help him and his family in more ways that he'll ever let himself understand.

They are, after all, the easiest emotions to stir. They are also the hardest to control, which is why the repubs are seeing such a backlash. People actually took their incendiary rhetoric seriously, and literally.

And for what? To be reelected in their jobs in a government they trained their voters to hate

First of all, I don't see any blatant spelling errors. Also, it's not written in crayons. Looking more closely, there are no curse words nor porn or gun references; no pictures of flags (American, military, rebel, or otherwise), bald eagles, crosses, rifles or Ronald Reagan.

Mm-hmm...

if this were "as bad as it gets", we're doing pretty good as a civilized society. Since there's no actual vandalism, no damage and no threats of any kind, I don't see what the big deal is. I'd find this more amusing than an ad for some shitty band.

except it was over a "Born Again Pagan" bumper sticker I had on my car at the time. My mom and I were at a shopping mall in suburban DC and when we came out there was something under my wiper blade. I retrieved it and it was a note, handwritten, from some idiot bitching at me because his children had seen the sticker and asked what it meant. It concluded with bible verse citations and an invitation to come to their church and hear about Christ. I took it home, put it on my altar, sprinkled salt and frankincense on it and then burned it. It never manages to infuriate me that idiots can have all the stupid shit on their cars that they want but get all pissy and affronted when confronted by someone displaying opposite opinions.

it is dangerous to have moderate or left wing bumper stickers on your car. Those people are crazy, and could very well vandalize your car for it. I have a bumper sticker that I only tape to the inside of my back window, and remove it when I park. It says "I don't believe the right wing media".
