If the 'pugs still want to "negotiate" in February...I say we negotiate THIS stuff

In exchange for getting rid of the "individual mandate" and the "employer mandate", they let us have the public option(OR let us switch the whole thing to single-payer)

In exchange for raising the debt ceiling again, they let the Bush tax cuts for the rich die, they help repeal Taft-Hartley and they let us pass a NEW McCain-Feingold, a NEW Glass-Steagall, and send a constitutional amendment to the states abolishing the Electoral College.

THAT kind of negotiations, I can live with.

You folks in, too?

The general idea is to ask for way more than you really want, and let the company bargain you down.

And a repeal of Citizens United, maybe term limits like the Presidential one, so Politician is not a lifetime career, expansion of Social Security, a repeal of the Patriot Act(The Patriot Act...repeal it is the one bumper sticker on my car), removal of the cap on social security, cuts to the defense budget, and Paul Ryan off any committee planning a budget. For a start.

I'm talk a dollar per dollar transfer. Defense spending provides domestic jobs, the key point is to continue the spending but to direct it towards better uses.
