House Stenographer is not insane, just batshit crazy.

This is what happened ….. Click to read
From FNC CHAD PERGRAM:

Urgent: House Stenographer says Holy Spirit woke her up at night to deliver message to the House

Per Kaplan/Pergram-Capitol Hill

Karrah Kaplan spoke with the husband of House stenographer Dianne Reidy last night. There’s an emailed statement here from Dan Reidy.

First, from Dianne:

“For the past 2 and 1/2 weeks, the Holy Spirit has been waking me up in the
middle of the night and preparing me (through my reluctance and doubt) to deliver
a message in the House Chamber.
That is what I did last night”

Her husand Dan says “My wife is a sweet, level-headed wonderful woman of God. I am proud of her.”

Hearing any voices, especially if you took the shitty advice they gave you, used to be an automatic trip to the state loony bin and a rear end full of Thorazine.

The state loony bins are gone, alas, so she's lucky to get a 72 hour evaluation, with or without the drugs that make her voices go away.

If something was on her mind and that kept her up at night, that wouldn't be evidence of a disorder. But if she heard the Holy Spirit's voice speaking to her like it was a person in the room with her, then she is likely schizophrenic or bipolar. Most of us would end up on psych meds if we heard voices, but I suspect that she wouldn't take them, and her husband sounds like someone who either believes she's hearing God or has psychological issues of his own. But she could just be a fundy who's trying to get attention.

She clearly isn't in her right mind and incapable of handling the job. Frankly, someone that has such a break with reality that they disrupt Congress with shouted religious word salad isn't competent to hold the job mental health problem or not. She'll never be allowed to step foot in any government building again.

Yes, she's ill and needs help. And no, she can't handle the job. That's obvious. If she's able to recover enough to be able to handle it great, but the fact remains that there's no way that anyone in Congress will ever trust that she's cured if she even can be which I seriously doubt. People that display unhinged breaks from reality aren't allowed anywhere near anyone in government, and they shouldn't be for obvious reasons. That doesn't mean that at some time in the future she can't hold a job, perhaps she could, but certainly not around people in power and not one with so much pressure nor public exposure.
