Democrats: We must NOT allow the Republicans to falsely claim that Teabaggers are not Republicans!!!

The Corporate Media is allowing them to get away with it. We must not allow it! The Republican Party created the Tea Party. It relied heavily on the Tea Party; hid behind it, used it and exploited it to obstruct Obama's agenda and hurt the Democratic Party. Yes, the Tea Party also hurt Republicans. However, the claim that the Tea Party had absolutely nothing to do with the Republican Party is a blatant lie. In other words, there is no such thing as a Tea Party Democrat. I have never heard of one. I have never seen one.

What the Republican Party is doing now is attempting to scapegoat the Tea Party because it knows its in trouble. Let's not allow them to get away with it. We must tie the Teabaggers around the collective neck of the Republican Party where it belongs. The Republican Party did nothing to stop the Teabaggers from shutting down government until the very end when their hands were tied and they had to. The Republican Party did absolutely nothing to stop the Teabaggers from obstructing every single piece of legislation meant to spur jobs and economic growth in this country. The Republicans did absolutely nothing to stop the Teabaggers from initiating filibusters or placing holds on judicial nominees, agency heads, or Obama's appointments.

And again, now that the Republicans are in trouble, they are attempting to act as if they had absolutely nothing to do with aiding and abetting the Teabagger tactics. Bullshit!! We must not allow them to get away with it. Hold the Republican Party Establishment accountable!!!

claiming that the Teapublicans aren't really Republicans. The rest of us are asking why it is that the Republican party followed their lead, shut down the government, and threatened economic havoc. We all hit on the fact that there were plenty of Republicans to stop the insanity, and nobody stepped up until the 11th hour on the economic havoc threat and they all went along with the government shutdown. Cons are insistent that Republicans are good guys and these few bad applies are spoiling the whole bunch. We're not having it.

Don't ever use Tea Party. Because there is no Tea National Conference. They are not a party.

Just like they use Democrat party as some sort of pejorative I think we can all call them what they are--Teabaggers.

They are the Teabagger faction of the Republican party. Refer to them that way.

Always "teabaggers" and never "tea party". They are/were/will always be just a re-branding of the far tight. Oh I suppose that for about the first three and a half days of its public unveiling it survived as some sort of astroturf faux populist corporate libertarian group with corpulent dorks in tri-corner hats with tea bags hanging off them as their standard bearers.

But then the next thing you know, despite their "throw all the bums out" / "I don't care if you're a democrat or a republican" and libertarian, mad as hell at the bank bailouts screeching, they all suddenly:

- Just happened to be in the GOP. Non partisan my ass.

- Had the least complaints about financial corporate welfare but shit a brick over bailouts of brick and mortar industries. Populists my ass.

- Desire religion, their religion to be the law of the land with all their "christian nation" horseshit. Libertarian my ass.

- Then there's the anecdotal shit, mostly taking the form of disguising bigotry as individualism and patriotism. Fuck them. Send them to their rooms and let them scream, thrash, and kick holes in the sheetrock and cry themselves to sleep. When they wake up, if they wake up, the country will still be a different and better place than what they pine for. Again, fuck them.

When told the Tea Party aren't true Republicans, answer by saying, the Tea Party wing claims the establishment Republicans aren't true Republicans.

Ask the question, who is right? Who are the true Republicans?

When the establishment Republicans mumble something, remind them, in the Republican Party might makes right.

Ask them who will win the fight for the heart and soul of the Republican Party, the establishment wing or the Tea Party wing.

It's all good for us. Let them have big, expensive, dirty, ugly, punishing primary fights.

If the primary fights are dirty enough and ugly enough, the losers might sit out the general election.

The losers might go the third party route.

Heaven forbid, the losers might endorse the Democrat candidate in the general election as being the lesser of two evils.

Democrats wouldn't want Republicans messing in Democrat Party politics.
Democrats shouldn't mess in Republican Party politics.

I want the tea party to split and be its own entity separate from the GOP...

have a few years of democratic domination and then the eventual creation of a true leftist party... then boom... 3-4 party system with two 'extremes' and one or two 'centrist' parties ...
we might just end up with a functioning coalition style government after all.

used to be real strong back in '09 and 2010, where the Tea Party and its backers tried to paint it as some independent, above-the-fray grassroots group, but I think more people have finally caught on and realized that they're just another faction of the GOP. The Tea Party label has become tainted, so Republicans are going to have to find yet another name for themselves. They've already tried the labels "conservative", "libertarian", "independent", and now "Tea Party". I wonder what's next--the Revolutionaries (referring to the American Revolution)?
