Joe Scar beating the drum: government can't do anything

on Morning Joe today.

It must be the new Republican Talking Point. The ill-designed website and the seeming inability to fix it is the problem with government doing anything right, according to Joe's next push, now that the shutdown is (temporarily) over.

Joe is heralding the early morning rollout of The Next Big Thing out of the Republican Noise Machine.

Joe was also dismissing PBO's wonderful statement yesterday as a "victory lap." The contemptuous little sh*t was really showing his nasty, snarling republican self...nothing new here. Here, Joe, have another bunch of sour grapes...

I'm thinking the GOP is completely incapable of learning from their mistakes, obviously a huge problem for the country.

took quite an asskicking this week and is looking for deflect from that in any way he can. That said, this rollout has been a colossal mess. 3 weeks in and it is still not fixed and that is simply unacceptable. If our side didn't know they were going to have to have a near perfect rollout, they haven't been paying attention since Pres Obama has been elected. First they need to cut off payment to the company who designed the website until it works perfectly or threaten to sue them into bankruptcy. It's coming very close to looking like sabotage.

the same thing. My favorite line was, "What has Obama accomplished? In the first term, only Obamacare. But the second term? What has he accomplished?" And all the Weebles around the table nodded.

I thought of sending an email to the show listing a hundred and fifty things he'd accomplished, including ending wars and eliminating the guy who bombed us, and then another list of all the "accomplishments" of the last Republican president, but I just didn't want to waste that much energy on this idiot.

Other than that, yeah, must be the new GOPee talking point du jour.

Didn't take long for Joe Scar to get back in line and start regurgitating again.

He was part of that whole contract with America in the 1990's. Constantly talking about when how when he was in office they were better and their ideas were good and the normal raygun was God. So much shite flows through his mouth we should use it for part of our waste removal sewer systems.

MSNBC really needs to get rid of him, fake noise channel would never take him they see him as to soft not racist enough but cnn loves the almost fox baggies they would hire him.

I for one never agreed with him back in the 90's. He was wrong then and he is wrong now. I wish others on his show would call him on that instead of not challenging him. Joe is a bully just like the rest of them.

The article goes into the civil rights issues that the nation had not yet dealt with and real fears, including those of Sen. Edward Kennedy about lack of nursing home beds. Yet all of these were handled and overcome. Medicare had a much more daunting time when it was launched.

It is almost laughable when we look back and saw that we solved some huge problems and now have a wonderful program that is incredibly popular.

that's been the gist of the whole GOP platform for ages. Living in GOP country (or a semi-rural backward county of an otherwise fine state), I keep myself armed with counter-examples.
