Ted Cruz Doesn't Need "99 New Friends In The US Senate"...

Ted Cruz Doesn't Need "99 New Friends In The US Senate" (VIDEO)

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) reiterated Thursday that he didn't come to Washington, D.C. to make friends.

"I'm not serving in office because I desperately needed 99 new friends in the U.S. Senate," Cruz told ABC News.

Even though Cruz is not looking to befriend his fellow lawmakers, he still wishes that they had come together during the shutdown.

"I wish Senate Republicans had united, I tried to do everything I could to urge Senate Republicans to come together and stand with House Republicans," he said.

Cruz also said Thursday that he will not rule out another shutdown in his effort to defund Obamacare.

he doesn't care about getting along with them? An idealogue. If only other people would think the right way! Like I do! Then the real world hits them in the face.

I guess he's planning on making extortion his go-to tactic. Way to learn a lesson, chief.

He is going to hammer away at McConnell and he has Rush doing his dirty work on radio, the Tea Party working social medial. He is pulling the Republicans further to the right.

I forgot about our candidate, haha , Goooo Allison L Grimes. Definitely helps clear her pathway. Finally an adult will take over; To go with Kentucky's Governor who successfully implemented ObamaCare. Thanks for the perspective.

Very proud of Gov Beshear since I heard of Kentucky's health insurance enrollment. I didn't know the South had Governors like him who care about working families and the poor.

You know all of this, many of the southern governors say the state contributions are too high. They are hurting families in need, forcing them into the federal exchanges, to the federal website. People who need the info are not getting it because of these selfish governors. Very sad. Great job Kentucky! Go Allison L Grimes.

Rafael is not lacking in intelligence, but he sure as hell has zero knowledge of how politics works. How does he thinks that anyone will support his proposals when he has made enemies of most of his colleagues?
