Stephen Baldwin says faith cost him roles; compares himself and Alec to Cain and Abel

http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2013/10/18/stephen-baldwin-says-faith-cost-him-roles-compares-him-and-alec-to-cain-and/

Baldwin speculates his outspokenness about his Christian faith could be to blame for his prolonged absence.

“I ran into an old friend of mine -- very high-profile casting director -- a couple years ago who said to me, ‘Look, I just want to say I’m sorry because I’ve brought your name up in the room a couple times and they were like ‘ you’ve got to be kidding,’” Baldwin told Fox News’ Lauren Green on Spirited Debate.

It can't possibly be that you are a horrible actor - right Stephen??

That was pretty much the best I saw him do, and even then, he telgraphed every single line he had.

The most I remember about him is that Melissa Leo dragged his ass through every scene he had with her.
And it's not really difficult to act the part of the "restless young orphan" with a chip on his shoulder, mooning after the wild west pretty young widow/schoolmarm architype.

Not everyone in an "artistic" family is going to be artistic. Stephan should have become a stockbroker, that was more his speed.

Never burn a bridge, especially if you don't know all of its connections. Why let yourself in for grief down the line if Stephen convinces one of those money-pissing billionaires to back him. Costs nothing to pass the buck.

year whined that he was not given an Emmy because he is a conservative. Kelsey has 5 Emmy Awards sitting next to 3 Golden Globes, but claims he was snubbed for a 6th for being a Republican. Piggy at the Emmy through?
Another contestant, James Woods. Woods gave interviews claiming he no longer works because he's a conservative literally the week his season on Ray Donovan ended, his best role in years, but he's not working this week and it's because he's a Republican, not because of being mean and pushing 70. If he was not a Republican, he'd be doing 50 Shades of Grey apparently.
Stephen has some strong competition this year, the other two schmedricks can actually act but Stevie has the age advantage for what that's worth.

Baldwin has a tattoo on his left shoulder of the initials "HM" for Hannah Montana. He got the tattoo after making a pact with Miley Cyrus that he would be allowed to cameo on the show if he had the initials tattooed on him. He revealed the tattoo to Cyrus at a book signing in Nashville, on November 10, 2008.[13] He never appeared on the show and has since said that he regrets getting the tattoo.[14]
