The Repubs will not attempt to shut down the government again.

Certainly not in an election year.

So what will be their strategy??

They will continue to attack "Obamacare". That is a given.

Between now an January, they will be trying to recover their "brand", lost when they were attempting to extort the Democrats to do what they wanted. They are snakebitten, pardon the pun.

Other than that, they will be trying to scare America with the "humongous debt" that Barack Obama has run up. They will be preaching of the necessity to do something about the uncontrolled growth of "entitlements". Obamacare will drive us even further into debt, they will say. They will say that he has run up more debt "than all the other Presidents combined". That is a lie, of course.

But they will not attempt to shut down the government again, in my opinion.

I am sure that there are baggers working on shutting it down again.
