To respond to this post.
The ACA is raising our premium 60% (0+ / 0-)

We've had an individual policy for years in Washington state. Next year, under the ACA, our family premiums are going up from $6,400 to $11,000 for a similar policy. That's a hell of a give up with no benefits for us .. excuse me if we're not exactly thrilled by this.

I'm happy for those now able to get insurance ... but when everyone talks about the small number of middle class individual policies (10% of population) as being the only people's who's premiums are going up .. that's us, and we're screwed.

So right now, I'd probably vote for repeal because there is no bleepin' way that people like my family should bear this burden on everyone else's behalf.

Single Payer's the only thing that makes sense.

I am not a member of Daily Kos but am sure this guy is talking about his private insurer not ACA. Please correct him if you can.
Thank you.

We had catastrophic coverage and that is no longer offered. To stay with the same company, which of coursE is not in the exchange, our costs would've doubled. And the plan we had is no longer offered. Looking through the exchange, we now have a MICH better plan for a HELL of a lot less. And WA has expanded medicaid so they need to check that also.

So, not a KOS poster, but trying to give insight into wtf they are going on about. Tell them to loot at the state site and it will be better for them. And WA's site has been up runing well for a while. We even got our confirmation letter already.
