I met a Vietnam War veteran who said that he worked at an NSA satellite facility...

The NSA might be able to restrict this online; however, when I begin to print hard-copy and hand out even more devastating information on the agency publicly, it will not be the first time events like that occurred.

Why doesn't this document mention satellites anymore? The same document mentioned "satellites" before Snowden went public.

"Finally, on 22 January 1988 President Ronald Reagan signed National Security
Decision Directive (NSDD) 298, decreeing that "each Executive department and agency
assigned or supporting national security missions with classified or sensitive activities
shall establish a formal OPSEC program...."15 Under the directive, the Senior Interagency
Group for Intelligence (SIG-I), with NOAC acting in an advisory capacity, was given the
responsibility for formulating national OPSEC policy and resolving interagency OPSEC
differences. 16
(U) The director, NSA, was designated under NSDD 298 the executive agent for
interagency OPSEC training:"

Who wants to talk about Strategic Defense Initiative, where Ray-gun had to go public to obtain funding for launching spy satellites that allegedly had potential to shoot down incoming nuclear missiles?

Snowden certainly mentions NSA satellites here:
Snowden unveils NSA Satellite SAURON Program targeting Citizens

MOSCOW, Russia – Edward Snowden, the whistleblower who recently unveiled the NSA’s ubiquitous PRISM wiretapping program, unveiled yet another insidious, citizen-targeting surveillance system Friday afternoon, in a chat with Internet Chronicle reporters.

SAURON, or the Semi-Autonomous Ultra-high-Resolution Orbital Network, is comprised of a series of hundreds of low-orbiting cameras that can make out objects on the ground as small as 1 centimeter in size.

There are so many satellites in this network that they are able to effectively monitor the entire planet’s populated surface without interruption. According to slides Snowden shared, taken from the NSA presentation on SAURON, each spy satellite feeds directly into a data bank so large that it is able to retain the captured imagery indefinitely.

1. The Internet Chronicle is a parody site, and NSA doesn't have satellites anyway

7. wrong again! my cat just died, which i suspect doesn't concern anyone; but it's M.E.O. "W"

Actually it was Ronald McDonald "W" trickle-down Ray-Gun Star-Wars Stragic Defense Ininciative lying to gain funding for a bunch of spy satellites, which the USSR and China were forced to counteract with other spy-satellites.

Here is your "middle Earth":

MEDIUM EARTH ORBIT (MEO) . Typical Uses: Weather Satellites, Observation Satellites, Spy Satellites and various deadly Attack Satellites Most of the satellites in medium Earth orbit circle the planet at at an altitude of 6,000 to 12,000 miles, in an elliptical orbit around the poles. Any orbit that circles the poles is referred to as a “polar orbit.” Polar orbits have the advantage of covering different regions as they circle. As the Earth rotates, satellites in polar orbits can eventually observe the entire surface, or - depending on their speed – cover an unchanged geographic area at the same time every day. Fewer satellites are required to observe the entire planet, since these satellites orbit higher and have a larger coverage area. Spy satellites typically use Medium Earth Orbits to cover as much surface as possible from a single satellite. Basically, as these satellites maintain standard orbital patterns, the Earth rotates beneath them, constantly exposing new areas for spy missions, while other satellites disrupt aircraft, RADAR or communications. To believe that a single satellite is capable of spying, disrupting communications and attacking with frequencies disregards power limitations. Most satellites use slow-charging, solar-wings to regain their powers. All satellites can be overburdened in numerous ways.

Here's another fictional place called "Atlantis":
"Elementary my dear Watson,"
What is a Starbase?

Is it really only an elementary school project? I recently saw a Navy recruitment commercial that features a satellite. China is launching over twenty satellites a year. Does anyone believe the DoD, Pentagon patriots are going to miss their pay-off by failing to launch NSA/ CSS spy satellites to fight in that code-war?

8. I found those books odd; but boring. I do have some information on "Middle Earth" Orbits (MEO)

There are several altitudes where attack and reconnaissance satellites orbit:

(1) Low Earth Orbits (LEO) are more dangerous because these attack satellites are closer to targets, thus more deadly.

(2) Middle Earth Orbits (MEO) are a more populated range for satellite interaction, because at that range attack satellites can still emit dangerous frequencies, while covering a larger geographic area.

(3) High Earth Orbits (HEO) offers the best observation platforms because their altitude provides a wider range of reconnaissance. This altitude is popular with typical spy or aircraft manipulating/ disrupting satellites.

While most military, intelligence gathering and attack satellites move in hard to track Polar Orbits: Communications satellites maintain geostationary orbits around the equator to allow television and radio technicians easy, fast access to signals they relay, which contain national news feeds and nationally syndicated radio programs. Their orbits match the speed the Earth revolves on its axis, which keeps them above the same spot on the planet consistently. With Polar Orbits the speed of a satellite dictates areas it can efficiently attack or observe on a given day, since Polar Orbits essentially oppose the natural spin of our planet on its axis.

The fact we have spare better-than-Hubble telescopes in storage REALLY makes me wonder about all the cool toys we don't get to know about. Something I think about when budget talks come up.
