New report reveals Jesse Lewis saved six classmates by telling them to run when Adam Lanza's gun ran out of bullets but was shot dead for his bravery when the killer reloaded
A six-year-old boy courageously gave his life during the Newtown school massacre to save six of his classmates, it was revealed today.
Adam Lanza's gun jammed after he burst into Jesse Lewis' classroom at Sandy Hook Elementary School and killed teacher Victoria Soto. Jesse saw in a moment that he had an opening.
He shouted to his classmates, who were huddled in the corner, holding hands. Six children fled the classroom and made it to safety.
'He yelled, "Run!" Adam reloaded and shot him in the head,' said his mother Scarlett Lewis, who learned details of the events inside the classroom from investigators.

(5,909 posts)Honestly. Soon it will be December, a year later and nothing has changed regarding guns in this country.
My heart still breaks for the children, teachers, parents and everyone involved.

A report on the Newtown shooting by investigators is due to be released soon. Investigators have not disclosed a possible motive for the massacre.
It was reported shortly after the shooting that Miss Soto, 27, hid some of her children in a closet and gave her life trying to distract Lanza.
However, little Jesse's heroism and his role in saving the lives of his classmates had not previously been publicly known

(38,613 posts)Yes, the ENTIRE TOWN participated in a massive hoax to pretend their children were murdered. It makes perfect sense, as the only logical explanation.

(58,366 posts)If so it looks manipulative to me.
Perhaps it's just a cosmic coincidence, but I doubt it.
