Bashing The South Is About Bashing The Three Green Teeth Cracker GOPPERS & Baggers.

The problem with the South is the inbred Republiklanners that we cannot live with. They are the entire problem and not the solution. And Texas is the worst sticking with the pathological and theocratic Cruz who should be in a rubber room somewhere.

There is little to be proud about an area of the country that still worships the Confederate flag. We have a lot of three green teeth GOPPERS in the North. Too many to go around.

which is extraordinarily thin skinned, among other things, which is why there are so many threads about it right now.

Tell me people in Boston talk funny and drive like shit, I'll laugh and agree with you. Tell a southerner that too many people down there are bamboozled by pompadoured preachers into voting for fascists and you're told you're doing all sorts of terrible things, like bashing southern lefties.

I'm sick of it.

Try this page http://www.democraticunderground.com/1013765

must be pay to play.

I lived in Florida for three years, been in Montana for about 30 now. Montana is full of inbred, racist, right wing, bagger, uneducated idiots. Many, many of the older farmers/ranchers are just plain stupid their ignorance cannot be fixed. Strictly religious/Republican. We are slowly turning Blue.

I can say, it's probably because we spend a lot of time fighting stereotypes as we claw our way up to becoming equal citizens. The homophobes and liberal-hating country folk paint us with broad brush strokes. They make inaccurate assumptions about our beliefs and behaviors that we have to combat. Then we come here to be with "our own kind" and face the same kind of generalizations about our culture and beliefs.

People aren't calling out the pompadoured fascist preachers, they're just calling out the south. Its stereotyping.

Saying "everybody there drives bad and talks funny" is a lot less offensive than saying "everybody there is a racist fascist". Its right up there with "all blacks commit crime" and "all gays are promiscuous and engage in risky sex".

Southern liberals spend a lot of time trying to disprove or debunk the stereotypes. Its just disheartening to hear it from the very people we are defending. And really, it makes you more like them than you realize.

because quite a bit of it is true.

You call it painting with a broad brush. Someone else might call it describing statistical norms with the knowledge that for every norm, there are always outliers.

There's a reason CBN originates in Virginia, why the Graham family (and before them, Billy Sunday) are in NC, why Wild Man Wildmon was in Mississippi, and why Garner Ted Armstrong found his most fertile ground in Texas. Yes, I wish we could get these liars and charlatans off the air. Unfortunately, with the people they persuade rural folks to send to Congress, that's not likely to happen. However, with so many of them originating in the south and concentrating on the south, they give some truth to the bamboozled by pompadoured preachers statement. It's sad.

ETA: on the other hand, the cities are quite different. When I left NC in 1968, I knew of several gay dancing bars in several cities. There was nothing like that in Boston and the few gay bars were very furtive affairs. Things didn't loosen up until a few years after Stonewall.

The most resistancd to PPACA is in areas where there is the highest mortality and illness due to lack of health care. And it is one of the most obese parts of the country. And these areas have the worst dental care of all. And lack of dental care is more damaging than even smoking. It just shows you how blinding racial hatred is.

24. Being slandered by someone is part of our dirty culture

Sometimes surfing the radio channels a few country music types play such sad music over and over again. That country music sounds so hurtful and problematic, loaded with grief, sorrow, and misery it is just puzzling how anyone can listen to such sadness for any extended time without expressing an attitude in public. Imagine a total childhood with ginned up grieving music.

The real troubling thing to me is the Ted Cruz types are plentiful. Knowing these types it does matter in politics, or, business a difficult social exchange is in the making or hidden in the corner. In either case my experience warns me to be on the lookout for these types with full reasoning to avoid them.

Especially is basic conversation in blogs like this. Not easy to do. Part of my passion is the study of mathematics which relates to most any science. In this case we have the close math distribution Principles of Epidemiology. What’s really funny is in another part of the blog arguments are debated about Metadata collection the Snowden thing rings very true to issues causes in cultural contrast.

Today’s politics fascinates me about this Red State thing especially with an identifiable southern accent that exposes the complex personalities a person matures with. However, the Blue state thing has its crazies too.

Laughing and chuckling to myself perhaps it is a horse race in characters. But the blessings of that special thing called character of a person especially in the way Martin Luther King expressed it a time ago. Character about a person is the essence of community and that social connection. Even Billy Graham said ‘all is lost when character is lost”. That rings so true.

I know this precious thing about character. At this time I have a personal battle that is going legal that very well could ask for reparations because of character slander in the corporate environment.

In my case corporation managers, openly, viciously, with outrageous allegations lied about me. That kind of public business exchange needs to be challenged and held accountable especially by punitive compensation. For a person to be able to go through a legal process on your own is risky. However, I my case so far a union is helping me. So, all those years working with a union, now I will see what good it will do, and try to let everyone know the advantage. This is a time in my life to be able to apply the first amendment and present my grievance to the government.

28. Nobody is bashing the south.........

I live here and when I exit my driveway, I see my neighbor's shed with the stars and bars on it's door.

I also heard their fireworks celebration when George Zimmerman was pardoned.

After their 4th of July celebration, my neighbors do not to shoot their semi-auto AKs in the air any more. Yes.... I called law enforcement and insisted they do something about it.

My Republican neighbors "didn't want to rock the boat", but they were plenty glad when their neighbor "hillbillies" stopped their celebratory shooting in the air.

This is NOT south bashing......... This is reality!
