General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsToday Thom Hartmann took calls about the ACA.
He asked that people who were trying to sign up let him know how it went. Towards the end of the three hour show, it seems all the people who had good experiences and got signed up were from blue states. All the people who had bad experiences were from red states that refused to set up exchanges and take Medicaid money.
So should those assholes be going on The news programs crowing about what a failure it is? It seems to be problematic only in those states that have obstructed it. Shouldn't those right wing wind bags be blaming themselves?
Thom hopes the news picks this up an reports on which states this is happening in and why.

It's definitely more of a for/against thing. We've seen it happening right here on DU.

(1,186 posts)They don't want it to work. I'm convinced the ACA will work in blue states where they want it to and won't work in red states where they don't.
Once again, it's up to us to drag the hillbilly half of this country out of the dark ages and into the 21st century. The struggle continues......
