management wanted more flexibility regarding work rules. i'm not sure what the final deal was, but I am glad the union stood its ground, even though it was painful for me and many other commuters.

after two 3 hour commutes from Richmond to East Oakland today, I don't think I could stand another day. Congratulations, Bart workers!
