Yes, but only after they figured it to be a way to beat the GOP nuts at their own game. nt kelliekat44 Oct 2013 #5

That's why I call it Obamacare, too. Yes, it is. As it evolves (which I believe it will) into a better system, I want people to remember who got the ball rolling!

Voting in lock-step against it?
Record-breaking obstructionism to get rid of it?

Never happened.

Or at least the few sane GOP members remaining will. They have such bad Obama hate OCD that many won't be able to have enough rational thought until President Obama's term has been over for a while though IMO.

There are still a lot of hurdles to get over before this is as much of a success as Medicare.

I really do think Obama and Dems in general thought that the lovefest over the ACA was going to start immediately.

Right now, they're trying to drag it through the mud as much as possible via the web site problems. Now that the budget/debt ceiling crises are temporarily over, they have moved onto the problems with the ACA web site. The GOPers and their whore MSM are pushing this notion that the ACA is a horrible thing because people are having problems with the web site. There is barely a mention that there are other ways of signing up, or that tens of thousands have already made it through the process, or that people have six months to sign up. Yeah, the web page is a mess, but as usual, they're grossly over-blowing the issue. And, they are conflating the web page issues with the law itself. It's disgusting to watch it, especially given that this kind of shit is going to discourage lots of people from even trying to get themselves insured. But, that's the whole point of it...

if the truth and facts don't fit, just make it up and keep repeating it.

It's been standard baggie policy since way back when bad actors found politics a much easier venue to make money by acting as politicians - you know, when baggers were still known as republicans. The result of that failed experiment was raygun and arnold.

Then blame the media for all losses. Live in a bubble and then blame everyone else for not agreeing with ReTHUG/bagger talking points - i.e. psychobabble

Of course if that doesn't work just buy the media while at the same time start your own media outlet, label it fair and balanced.
