Everyday China.

China has shut down because of this smog in large portions of the country. China is finally admitting they can not continue with situation.

The correction will wreak havoc on their economy and the ripple effect to the world economics will be hugh.

Imagine Walmart and every other chain store with no product to sell. "May you live in interesting times."

Putting money, technology, and jobs to mitigate the problem could be a way to stimulate their economy over the next decades....the first step is obviously recognizing their dire situation and having the political will to deal with it. Sadly, we can't get the political will to deal with our own environmental problems. Given what China has done over the past 30 years, I have no doubts that they can impact their pollution problems if they take the same approach as they did to industrial development.
