Walker declines comment on latest secret criminal investigation, but blames Dems

MILWAUKEE -

Gov. Scott Walker isn't saying much about a new secret criminal investigation, but he is questioning the timing of when news broke about the probe.

Walker would not say Monday during a stop at Beechwood Sales and Service in New Berlin whether he, his attorneys or any staff members have been contacted. His spokesman referred questions to Walker's campaign, which did not respond to requests for comment from The Associated Press.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel first reported on the new investigation Monday. On Tuesday, the Journal Sentinel reported (http://tiny.cc/vz0c5w ) that Walker deflected questions about the probe, saying he didn't want to get "pulled into" because of the investigation's secrecy rules.

Walker says he expects stories like that to start coming out now that he has a Democratic opponent.

unless they threw him under the bus to save their own nasty hides.

I couldn't get to the Journal Sentinel link directly--I had to look at a cache as my browser kept saying it was offline.

I hope they nail him but good; no one deserves it more.

My guess is there probably will be more coming out and that intersection with any gubernatorial campaign will be coincidence.

any criminal cases will be filed fairly soon so the party of the defendants can choose a different candidate who has a reasonable amount of time to campaign.

For some reason, Scarborough has been "all Walker" and singing his praises for the last 3 weeks.
Talking him up like he's some sensible Re-Pub. It's sickening...and I wonder what kind of shit he's up to.
