I have marked the date to cancel on my calendar so I won't forget. I have been meaning to switch over to Amazon anyway since it comes with the Prime membership I already purchased there. Netflix appears to want to go out of business these days. First the whole thing with increasing the price of everyone's membership, then insulting their female customers by continuing to support this misogynistic, pervy windbag. I have pretty much had it with them anyway. This just reminds me.

Talked to a wonderful person (don't want to state gender because you never know who reads this and they may get in trouble) They stated that the more calls they get, the faster things will roll. They agreed and were pretty mad themselves over the issue, that Netflix is encouraging people to state their thoughts. Made my estimation higher of them that they employ people like that.

It was all in all a pretty pleasant conversation. No canned answers, just straight up honesty.

I stated as best I can remember "I love Netflix, I use them all the time, but I have two teenage daughters and unfortunately the power lies with the dollar right now, since he gets paid via advertising money we have to speak with our pocketbook. His outright lies, his purposeful twisting of the issue of insurance mandate vs tax dollars and the insults heaped on that poor girl reflect directly on every womans head." I went on to say that if nothing is accomplished by Friday we would have no choice but to cancel.

Basicly the flag from the company is "Keep the calls coming"

Netflix number 866-579-7115
They do ask for your customer code that can be found at the bottom of any Netflix page after you log in.

"If you're still advertising with Rush Limbaugh by the end of the week, I'm cancelling my account. Just FYI."

Was happy to see lots of like-minded people posting much the same sentiment.

that Netflix still sponsors Rushbo. (I didn't even know she was following the controversy that much.) And then said something about letting them know our displeasure since we've been using Netflix since they started up.
