But most people, when you ask them, are either willfully ignorant, or in denial, or both.

part of it is that governments, yes governments, do not want to even admit they have a large homeless population. Good example of this, my county board of Supervisors. We do not have homeless in Lakeside, really, and I have an aircraft carrier for sale, with a bridge to go with it.

This time of year it is hard to get into a shelter.

Im so sorry to hear that. I spent some months on the streets 20 years ago. Its so hard. Im not sure I could handle it now. How long has it been? Are you somewhere warm?
