(13,556 posts)and what I was able to garner from her message board, apparently Premiere told Sirius/XM to pull most (maybe all) of it's programming. This resulted in them dumping 246 all together.
Also, Randi has pretty much said that she's off the air at the end of the year and has no further plans at this time.

(13,556 posts)Maybe they can do with her what they did for Art Bell. Art has little good to say about Premiere and his issues with them are one of the reasons he was off the air for so long. Sirius/XM recognized that picking him up for an exclusive program was a good idea since there was a loyal following willing to buy radios and subs just to hear him. So far it's worked out well for them both.
Not to argue whether or not Art Bell's show is good or bad, it's a good model of what could happen. It may be that after the first of the year if enough progressives write Sirius/XM they could do something similar to get Randi back on the air (or the satellite in this case.)
