spread the Right Wing Freeper lies, treating felons like James O'Keefe as if they were real journalists, never followed up on the rest of the story, the court cases where O'Keefe was thoroughly exposed as a liar. Nor did they ever attempt, as Gov. Brown eventually did, to get a hold of his full tapes which completely exposed the scam.

Which is why I never, ever watch the US MSM/Propaganda Machine.

They destroyed another wonderful organization that worked for over 40 years to protect the poor, especially minorities from bigotry when they had the money to buy a home eg, among other things.

That whole disastrous scam was based on pure bigotry which was also exposed when O'Keefe's old websites were discovered, after which he completely deleted them.

Shame on every Democrat who enabled and abetted Daryl Issa when he brought the 'defund Acorn' to the floor and cowardly Dems gave him the votes he needed and handed a victory to the Far Right Wackos who were emboldened by that and have gone on to the point where they are shutting down the government now to get their way.

Thanks to the GOOD Dems, who exposed legally, that whole phony process and to the courts who agreed with them.

But they were too few to push back against the 'bi-partisan' steam roller that left thousands of the poor, and minorities without the protection and assistance of ACORN they had relied on for decades.

O'Keefe/Breitbart pulled that "Stir up outrage and quickly get people fired/censured BEFORE the real story comes out a few weeks later" -bullshit too many times...

at him. I remember now that Issa was behind a lot of it, which I had forgotten. I hope what I read yesterday is right, that he may have a real challenge this time for his seat.

much more than just what James did, but James' videos are what got the whole thing going. I'll also look for something about Congress recently adding "no Acorn funding" to a bill even though ACORN had been shut down for two years.
