McDonald's "help line" tells long-time employee to get food stamps and Medicaid.

Sorry, it's a video. I usually hate it when people post videos because I'm not interested in watching them. To sum up: Nancy, a 10-year full-time McDonalds employee who is rationing food for her two kids, calls the employee help line to get help. The woman on the line tells Nancy to sign up for SNAP and look into Medicaid. The takeaway is that fast-food workers cost the government $7 billion a year because of poor wages and health benefits.

and then companies like McDonald's will spend a fortune backing candidates who's sole purpose in life is gutting SNAP and Medicade.

I do everything I can to avoid companies that pay minimum wage.
