As we are finding out, the NSA has been tapping the communications of close allies with apparent abandon. Does anyone here still seriously believe that the NSA is not equivalently abusing its power to intercept essentially every form of electronic communication anywhere here domestically?

The more you're able to collect, the more powerful you'll be....Of course you still need the ability to synthesize, filter and utilize the information to get the most out of it, but clearly the NSA has the first step locked up....
