NSA routinely monitored 35 World Leaders.

The Guardian is reporting, and not Greenwald for those who detest him, that the NSA memo indicates that the intelligence agency was asking for any phone numbers of foreign politicians and other political leaders that could be monitored.

Read the article here. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/oct/24/nsa-surveillance-world-leaders-calls#

I wonder how many phone calls the President is going to have to take about this now? Please note the use of the word routine in the monitoring of those numbers. Great success although little useful intelligence has been gained.

Given "The document notes that one unnamed US official handed over 200 numbers, including those of the 35 world leaders, none of whom is named."

The 35 are just the result of one official sharing his Rolodex.

But I decided to report on the Guardian story at first, I was about to leave the house and had little enough time to do everything.

I love how all the gov. acts so surprised whenever the consequences of its repression pops into view.
So far, Germany,Japan, and Brazil have yelled about this...
