Because Grover is now considered a Muslim lover in tea party world.

However, coming from Indiana originally, as rabid a Republican state as anywhere, I have seen first-hand how voters will automatically, robotically vote for anyone with an "R" by their name.

Paul and Janice Crouch, owners of Trinity Broadcasting Network, an evangelical Christian prosperity gospel network.

Of course, they've since parted ways (divorced), and in the meantime their children are fighting over the disposition of their multiple mansions. Here's a taste of just one of them:

Apparently prosperity gospel is only to benefit the pastor's family.

And such fine taste they have.

Note that I haven't posted interior shots since I wouldn't want to be responsible for DUers plucking out their own eyes.

I regret if the pic of the Crouch's results in that.

She bought a $100K motor home (factory air conditioned by the air conditioned factory no doubt) for her dogs. For while they were on the road, no doubt.

These people were leeches.

The mansion pic I posted was one their 13!

Read about it here (Wiki): http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jan_Crouch

Hell, she ought to be in prison just for her hair styles and make-up. Too bad Tammy Faye has died. She was at least repentant before she passed away.

Alas, these days Jimmie Bakker is selling bread and salvation on late night religious broadcasting. Apparently not much bread in that enterprise... Not much salvation either, I might add.

I lived not too far away from their Heritage Park (or whatever the hell it was called). So of course I had to visit it just to see what it was all about. It felt eerily creepy to me what with all the religious sayings everywhere. There was a waterpark on the premises and there were signs that read, "Christian bathing attire only." What the hell??? We had a lot of fun with that one, like WWJW? Guess they only wanted to have people who wore those old 1920's bathing suits down to their ankles and made of wool.

I don't think it was, but wasn't Jimmy Boy having an affair? Yeah, a teenager wearing a two pieced bathing suit isn't acceptable in Heritage Park but meanwhile Jimmy's hitting old ladies up for donations and boinking someone who's not his wife.

I did see Tammy Faye at a local mall one time and she looked even worse in person - like a clown.

I do not mind saying that Grover Norquist, probably more than anyone else in the United States today, scares the living hell out of me.

He is the true power behind the Republican Party - their "Rasputin."

He is the Devil to Daniel Webster, with his "pledge."

And, yes, I know he has taken heat from the real looney fringe for being married to a Palestinian woman.

Close behind would be Chris Chocola (Club For Growth - and CLUB is meant in the sense of a weapon to beat down insufficiently TP members of Congress), who represented the district in Indiana where I was born and raised. However, he represented it after I left - thank God for small favours.

Limbaugh, Beck, etc. are the public face and bluster of the GOTP. Norquist and Chocola are the power behind the throne.

AFP and their related bloggers are still churning out the daily doses of propaganda which flood the Twitter and Facebook feeds, and the town hall meetings are continuing. Please don't let your guard down. They may be done nationally, but they are alive and well at the local level.

"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
"How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, or you wouldn’t have come here.”
