Tracy Gold responds to her former costar and Fundy Nutjob, Kirk Cameron

Not everyone shares former teen idol Kirk Cameron's views on homosexuality.

The born-again actor, 41, told CNN's Piers Morgan that being gay is "unnatural," "detrimental" and "ultimately destructive to so many of the foundations of civilization" during a Friday interview.

If one of Cameron's six children were to come out, the actor wouldn't be supportive. "I'm going to say, 'There are all sorts of issues we need to wrestle through in our life. Just because you feel one way doesn't mean we should act on everything we feel.'"

Cameron's comments angered many Hollywood stars, including his Growing Pains costar Tracey Gold, 42. "I am a strong supporter of the LGBT community and I believe in equal rights for all," the actress tweeted Sunday.

The article goes on to mention other celebrities who have come out against Cameron's spew.

Tracey Gold also did a NoH8 campaign photo.

I saw her recently on "Celebrity Wife Swap," (I know, I know) and she and her family seem like nice, pretty normal folks. Her husband's father is Rob Marshall, who murdered his wife, and is the subject of Joe McGinnis' "Blind Faith."

Glad to know at least one of the Seaver kids isn't a homophobe!

happened. Very tragic event. Never mind I checked it out. Believe it or not he is up for parole in 2014.

And Gold visited her on set, and Kerns introduced Gold to Roby, who was acting as a consultant for the miniseries. Roby Marshall is swim coach, and they've been married a long time.

Agreed: very tragic, and very needless.

He had the death penalty, then life in prison. Are you in Monmouth, NJ (I'm almost positive that's a place!)? If so, do you think he'll get released, or was his crime too infamous?

She's actually talented. Cameron's bread and butter comes from being like this. Marie Osmond's Mormonism isn't the basis of her career.

And, I admire her very much for publicly supporting her daughter, who is gay, and loving her son. I don't blame her for the suicide. From what I've read, it was tragic, but she didn't figuratively push him.

It is very sad when parents throw their LGBT kids out of the home or send them to "Ex Gay Camps." What a traitorous thing to do to someone you purport to love.
