http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2013/10/celebrities-support-oppose-obamacare-get-coveredWell now. What the heck happened to Ken Wahl?? I already knew about the Baldwins and their nuttiness. Oh and Jon Voigt and his stupidity. But Ken Wahl is now a special kind of stupid. He posts nothing but conspiracy theories and outlandish lies on his Twitter account. Seriously a little crazy there . . .

(8,090 posts)I just never noticed her getting political before. I guess kinda like my reaction to seeing Monk (Tony Shaloub) at last year's convention, I had never noticed him getting political.
Drunken Irishman
(34,857 posts)She's pretty vocal online about things (women's rights, Obama). I like her, tho (even before I knew she was a lefty).

Seriously, I even looked him up. None of his work is familiar to me.

(15,382 posts)Never watched any of those shows...
I guess I should mention that I stopped watching television regularly back in the late 90s. Now I watch a few shows on my computer via HULU or specific websites so unless it's a celebrity doing something incredibly stupid - like Miley Cyrus - I probably have little idea who anyone is.
Hell, I have to refer to her twerking partner as the dude in the Beetlejuice suit because I don't know who he is (apparently hasn't done enough stupid shit).

(15,382 posts)I do own a TV (a flatscreen even - got rid of the clunky LCD one last year), but that's for playing DVDs of movies and magic and balloon twisting tutorials.

(6,228 posts)I too did not recognize most people on the list. However, it is just because I really don't give a shit about the personal lives of "movie stars."
That said, this is just one of my favorite Onion articles and I like to bring it out once in a while. You just happened to provide a sliver of opportunity that I quickly rammed by fat ass through.

(37,573 posts)of the dad from "Growing Pains" - if that helps.
I did not even have a TV for much of the 90s.
Now considering the way my reception for digital TV has gone into the crapper, it looks like I may not have a TV in the future. Ah well. I probably will be better off and get more done.

(62,416 posts)I am thinking Ken Wahl should be on a milk carton - no one seems to know who he is.
Journeyman
(15,031 posts)Unfortunately, he offers no alternatives and proffers no ideas, just a litany on his Twitter stream of anti-care animus.
hfojvt
(37,573 posts)because James Woods was in the sorta pro-universal coverage movie "John Q" but I guess he was just collecting a paycheck, not supporting the ideas in the movie.

Journeyman
(15,031 posts)He offers no alternatives, shows no compassion, seems removed from everyday concerns. It's just going to cost money and some may be pushed into it and have to pay in protest.
Sad. To be so isolated from your fellow man.
Drunken Irishman
(34,857 posts)Googled him and all his photos seem to be from the 80s and 90s, so, my guess is he hasn't done anything relevant in my time.
