Need help, DU re: college grads working minimum wage jobs

Anyone know of a reputable source that lists the types of degrees college graduates have, but they can only find minimum wage jobs? Am dealing with someone who insists the types of degrees are low demand, like foreign languages, scrap booking(!), etc., and since there's no demand for those types of people, they have to work minimum wage jobs.

So, basically, it's their own fault because they chose worthless degrees.

Would appreciate any help!

Still, I suppose that could lead one into graphic arts and advertising design.

The most useless degrees in the world used to shunt one into a mid level management job automatically. It's very new that the bureaucratic infrastructure has been shipped to other English speaking countries with lower wages, killing the jobs that generations of kids with silly degrees relied upon. Field of study matters more now than it ever has, but even a 4 year business degree is no guarantee of a decent job in business.

and is certified to teach up to 3rd Grade in NYS. Since she has not been able to find a job in public school, she is working in a private school making $9/hour. She is 29 years old and living with her parents who live on SS. As an aside, she went on the ACA website, and was able to get a much better deal on health care than what she was paying through her employer.
