Don't confuse the post from the other day with this post! This is a different company. I don't make a dime off this post. This post is in support of JOBS that feed families and pay middle class taxes.
Union House will be having a sale soon too: http://www.unionlabel.com/

We have our own rivalry going on at the office. Emma went to the University of Michigan and Michael went to Michigan State. Scott put on his U of M Maize and Blue cap to get the mail. Cary is playing it safe and not picking sides.
The hats are is made of stretchable, 100% acrylic rib-knit fabric for warmth and comfort. Your favorite college team logo is sewn on the front of the hat, and the Carhartt logo is sewn on the back of this classic, one-size-fits-all hat.

You do know we need jobs in this country and the economy depends on AMERICAN JOBS, chiefly well paying AMERICAN jobs.
I am not surprised that you might think this is not news. Nothing surprises me here anymore.
And no, OS is not getting one red cent for these posts. He is encouraging, even the likes of you, to BUY AMERICAN and support AMERICAN WORKERS. This has been a current news story since NAFTA was first conceived, if not earlier.
But then again, what some folks here consider non-news is kind of hilarious.

(99,656 posts)A few years ago they made the decision to offshore. Quality and sales dropped. Old time customers wouldn't buy it. They came home to the USA. Much of it is union made again. They may still have a product or two that is imported. But the USA only dealers DO NOT carry any of those items.

Example: Carhartt and Realtree® Team Up To Create A Camo Line That Is Made Exclusively In The United States
Oct 22, 2013 7:40:00 AM Lindy Mueller
DEARBORN, Mich. Carhartt, Americas premium work wear brand since 1889, today announced an extension to its camo apparel partnership with Realtree ®, the world's leading camouflage designer, marketer, and licensor. Two titans of workwear and camo have teamed up to create a line of camouflage apparel that will be made exclusively in Carhartt manufacturing facilities in Tennessee and Kentucky. Realtrees new Xtra® camo pattern will be used on popular Carhartt styles and will be the only Realtree camo line made in the USA.
"This partnership with Realtree will give outdoorsmen a one-of-a-kind camo product because it combines an industry-leading camouflage pattern with tried-and-tested outerwear," said Deb Ferraro, vice president, product design. "Carhartt has a long, rich history of manufacturing in the United States and were proud to be the only Realtree camo apparel made in the USA."
"The Carhartt/Realtree partnership has been going strong for many years now," said Realtree VP of Licensing, Brad Schorr. "Of course, that's largely due to the fact that many of Carhartt's large and loyal consumer base love their camo Carhartt gear! This new USA Camo program is only going to make that relationship between Carhartt and its fans that much stronger. We are thrilled to be involved."
The new line of Carhartt Realtree apparel includes five items: Thermal-lined Duck Active Jac, Quilted-Flannel-Lined Duck Active Jac, Dungaree, Duck Bib Overall and Quilt-Lined Duck Bib Overall.

(8,155 posts)Since I live in AZ, I use it mostly at work in the walk in cooler and freezers. But I've also taken it up to Minneapolis in the dead of winter and heavily layered underneath. Thing was cozy at -30.
