Is Omaha Steve promoting jobs in the USA proper for General Discussion?

Goggle DU and you will see GD has hundreds of posts going back several years about where to buy products MADE in the USA. Tell us what YOU think.

This got old last time it came up.

Ha Ha!

SaveAmerica says buy American so when you hear there is something deadly in jerky dog treats made in China, you can breathe easy. Plus local small business support puts your dollars in the pockets of those in your community.

We need all the advertising we can get as you can be sure a large company that advertises a lot manufactures overseas. It's very hard to compete against the behemoths, but word of mouth on quality products keeps most of us in business.

We need to share with people that the couple of extra dollars you spend on Made in the USA is a great VALUE. It means the high quality of your item will not only last longer but work/fit/feel better every single time you use it. It's not just supporting US workers, it is the best possible purchase for your money. And you are not supporting child & slave labor just so you can get a shiny new thing and that's got to be worth something!
