(8 posts)2. Maybe I'm Being Naive and Most Conservative Republicans Are Racists
For some time now I have been trying to make the argument that most Conservative Republicans are not white racists and that they can disagree with liberals when we talk about issues like affirmative action or crime in Urban America. However when the Governor and North Carolina Republicans try to restrict access to the ballot and honor the late Jesse Helms I wonder if I'm being naïve.
