jcpenney

It has come to our attention that a handful of local radio stations may have played jcpenney radio spots adjacent to or during The Rush Limbaugh Show. To be clear, jcpenney is not a national advertiser of this show. We have a strict “No Run” policy in place specifically regarding The Rush Limbaugh Show. After jcpenney confirms the facts, we will contact any local radio station that is in violation of our radio advertising parameters to ensure that our “No Run” policy is adhered to regarding this program.

Don't worry about JC Penny, they will be fine. They came out fine after the despicable attack on them for hiring Ellen as a spokesperson and they will be fine, better than fine after this.

No reputable business wants to be affiliated, in any way, with Limbaugh now, he is toxic to them as we can see by the avalanche of sponsors pulling their advertising. Isn't it great?

Maybe attacking the logic. He has apologized. He knows he was wrong. But the attack on his advertisers can backfire. They are just trying to make a buck. What if 20 million Rushbots attack the MSNBC sponsors? And they will.

He did not apologize. It was just words disconnected from his lies.

I see you also buy the 20M listener lie.

And who are those MSNBC sponsors the mythical 20m listeners might attack?

This will not work. You will see the Cable channels drop it like a hot potato. Boycotts are a loser.

That would be hard given that they didn't start them and have not promoted them.

They all are supported by advertisers. For example look it up. What if all the Rushbots start doing the same thing to MSNBC? It is a lose lose. The major networks will run like hell.

33 is a huge portion to lose.

Honestly, as vile as the comments were, they were nothing out of the ordinary for Limbaugh. He's said far more offensive things in the past IMO. I think it's just the way he came off as a pervert that tipped the scales. Also this is a hot button issue in this country right now with Republicans attacking women again and people are just fed up with this garbage from the GOP and Limbaugh personified it.

A few days ago if you would have asked me if Rush could get fired over this I would have said no chance, now I would say it's almost 50/50.

Which will be never, I predict, since he's had a score of years... That's a generation, folks... to brainwash the elders the young ones who have heard this man all their lives so we will be living with the affects of this *** a very long time...

Nonetheless, thanks for the new names and numbers. Because I won't patronize anyone I know who has ever sponsored the BFI and these names will be added my list of who to not do business with.

Their sponsorship allowed him to become mainstream, while he's been nothing but a stench in the nose of anyone with a heart for all these years! Where is their apology for helping to support the destruction of this country's soul and morals for money all this time?

No one with a brain cell had any doubts as to what this propagandist was doing from Day One. They knew and either suppported what this low-life spewed, or didn't care.

And this is just the latest thing. What of his persistent calls to hunt and kill liberals for sport for years?

What of his mocking everything that lives on this planet and rejoicing in the destruction of lives here and abroad for his masters?

I will never give my money to any company so perverse as to support the GOP's Goebbels, Rush, Hannity, Beck, Boortz and O'Reilly. Rush only got caught this time because his latest target had the sympathy of people before he and the RW hate machine got their marching orders...

The fact remains the man is no worse today than he has ever been since he went on the air.
