notice how the reactionaries (ie the rightwingers) like to muddy the waters by using terms (like 'conservative' or 'republican') that hide their true face....and the rightwing media loves to comply. The very word RIGHTWING creates terror and confusion amongst Mr Pig's adherents....we faught the rightwing nazis in dubia dubia 2- though it was the USSR that 'ripped the guts outta the German war machine' (quoting Churchill)- and they have ever since reacted with a vengence...see Chile, Indonesia, Central America etc.

Fox News/Rush etc talking points, without any basic understanding of what they are saying.. she sees as very scary. We all see that but I give her great credit to say it so concisely.

She also pointed out the successful integration of Republican or RWNJ messaging via reinforcement throughout their controlled media.

Essentially I think of many Republicans as mind controlled....a very old terminology and something that my very rigidly, authoritarian conservative Mother feared very much...this was back in the Vietnam Nam War era. It's peculiar because so many of these older Republicans see themselves as fiercely independent people.

If we perceive these Republicans as actually deluded by propaganda, sick in other words, do we gain any insight about how to bring a glimmer of reality into their viewpoints?

Unfortunately, there also seems to be a thought pattern common to many Republicans that says..I'm deserving and entitled but others (probably race based) are not.
