Republicans are Outraged

Sun Oct 27, 2013 at 09:21 AM PDT
Republicans are Outraged
by jamess

Republicans are Outraged -- that Americans are getting Affordable Health Care.

Republicans are Outraged -- that Americans are NOT getting Affordable Health Care, fast enough.

Republicans are Outraged -- that Americans have to pay Taxes.

Republicans are Outraged -- that America's Debt is NOT being paid down, fast enough.

Republicans are Outraged -- that the Voter's Right Act used to make them let everyone Vote.

Republicans are Outraged -- that in Texas, North Carolina, and Virgina, there are way too many Women, Students, and poor people voting.

Republicans are Outraged -- that so many Americans want to Vote.

Republicans are Outraged -- that even with all their Gerrymandered Districts, they still lose Elections.

Republicans are Outraged -- that so many Americans do NOT hate Government like they do.

Republicans are Outraged -- that so many Americans just want a Government that works -- because as recent history shows, that's just NOT what they DO!

... Provide us a Government that works? Hah!

Because in their world-view, THAT would be simply Outrageous!

.... as their own spending record and most recent VP Cheney have shown & stated: "Deficits don't matter".

They also don't give a shit about AVERAGE Americans paying taxes, it's the millionaire pals paying taxes that pisses them off.
Their kind shouldn't have to pay taxes, as Leona Helmsley famously said "Taxes are for the little people."

Most GOPers refuse to own up to their part of the social contract & want to be entirely separate from us rabble because they think they're better than the rest of us working schmucks (even if they too are working schmucks).

Fuck 'em. Sorry about the crude language but it's certainly what they deserve. So tiresome - they're outraged about this and they're outraged about that. They're always throwing hissy-fits, always bitching and complaining, always fault-finding, just a bunch of malcontents on steroids. They just need a good case of STFU. We all need a case of their STFU. It'd be a dramatically more pleasant world if they'd STFU. I mean, sheesh - we're using THEIR health care coverage plan and they're still pissed off. (Well, I realize there are dimensions to that).

Glad you're here! But really, haven't we all just had it UP TO HERE with their complaining and criticizing and fault-finding - and offering NOTHING in return. Okay so they hate the ACA and want to do away with it. And their "better idea" is... ... ... ... ? And their solution to this problem is... ... ... ... ? They'd dismantle it and replace it with... ... ... ... ?

Besides the sound of crickets chirping and a lot of dead air that doesn't work very well in broadcast/cable news, they offer nothing. Except for wall-to-wall, 24/7 negativity. Some way to run a country. No wonder you guys have been locked out of the White House for the last two election cycles (and are likely to stay that way).

from your post. I am a pessimist looking for optimism in our current state of affairs. I was raised in an evangelical/republican home so I am intimately familiar with how these dominionists think. The main source of my pessimism is how close the last presidential election turned out.

Thank you for the welcome, actually I think this your second welcome to me. It's been awhile since I posted. Have a great day.

That the reason the debt is so high in the first place was due to their tax cuts for the wealthy, their pharma bill, and their two wars that they wanted so badly they lied to the world to start.

They are not outraged that veterans can't find jobs, get services they're entitled to, medical care, or that vets lost houses due to bank fraud. So much for supporting the troops, which we heard non-stop during the Bush years.

Calling the Republicans hypocrites is an obscene understatement.

15. They are outraged because they are wrong

They have been proven wrong, they are going against all the principles of Christianity they claim to follow.

They invaded countries for no reason, killed millions, doubled the pentagon budget and drove the nation into debt for war, pain and suffering.

But it cost to much to provide pain relief, to heal the millions of Americans who are suffering and dying.

Deep down they know something isn't right...so true to form they keep blaming the victims.

Sometimes I feel sorry for them for being so dumb, evil and blind... sometimes I am angry with them for the same reasons....

but the fact remains, we need to do something to change course.

The most evil and greedy people in this nation have all the power and millions are suffering because of it.

It is not enough to just complain or feel superior to these killers, we must stop them now!

But they dodge their own contradictions by keeping their minds busy with nonsense (one of the many purposes of rw talk).
