Halloween used to be a fun night FOR KIDS . Unfortunately . so called "adults" have usurped this to go around in skimpy costumes thinking that this is "sexy " . It shows just how un-adult they are . And kids can't go trick-or-treating anymore for fear of being robbed , assaulted , or given poisoned candy or apples with razorblades in them . Give Halloween back to the children , and the rest of you , GROW UP !

As outlandish as they are, some will attribute this to your true feelings.

not to eat apples or homemade treats for fear of razor blades/poison. The first trick-or-treating that I remember, when I was 4 years old, I received a caramel popcorn ball and I was so excited because I loved those things. But my grandmother saw it and promptly threw it in the trash because "it might be poisoned".
