Thanksgiving is a month away and our help is needed

Please don't forget that hungry families will need our help. Food banks and kitchens usually need donations a week or two prior to the holiday so the food can be sorted and distributed, so now is the time to plan. Also a good time to ask your local food bank/kitchen if they need any volunteers. That includes cooks, servers and drivers. And if you live near an elderly citizen who is alone for the holiday, how about extending an invitation for them to join your family for the holiday dinner?
