2nd favorite will be the most fun--- duct tape purchases will skyrocket because the Hillary haters on DU will have to muzzle themselves.
Oh and my 3rd favorite day. November 8th 2016.

(26,060 posts)when I ask you if we really need to start this crap now? Is it really necessary?

(41,692 posts)Why don't you go ask the Hillary haters the same question. There seems to be a post a day dissing on her.

(26,060 posts)They'll either vote for whoever the nominee or they wont. I stopped caring about that shit a long time ago. Getting into a pissing match seems counterproductive to me but knock yourself out.

(45,358 posts)Yes, the OP is pure flamebait and should be locked IMO.
As of today I don't hate Hillary and never have, but that might change as 2016 approaches and OET/Jane/et al ramp up the bullshit.

If she wins the nomination, fine. I'll vote for her. Until then, I'll say this: She's someone who has always struck me as someone willing to take virtually and short cut to fulfill her ambitions. and that she will be as corporate a nominee as any ever nominated, should she win.
I'll criticize her all I want.

(8,830 posts)Or what if *gasp* she decides not to run? Will that become the 1st "most horrible day"?
Guess we'll see when the time comes.

But for now, I'm not holding my breath that she's even running. She hasn't announced.
We've got time.

(20,176 posts)If you're all masochistic to nominate her, that's your problem. I'm going to enjoy my mid-day naps, awesome tapas, 10PM dinners, great wine and the beautiful women in peace. Soy no masochista.
You forgot your austerity.
Chan790
(20,176 posts)The beautiful women will still be beautiful, the food and naps will still be excellent and I'll still be in the small minority of people with a college degree in Seville.

(24,096 posts)Back to the 08 primaries, I think that inevitability bell was ringing hard for Hillary then too. And there were what, 8 nominees, so the idea that if Hillary runs, everyone else stays back is proven to be false.
