Madame Secretary you have been put through the wringer and deserve our respect and appreciation.

This reminds me of the definition of the job of a public administrator: to stand between the dog and the fireplug.

Also of the old song "I'll take you home again, Kathleen."

Just when I think the Republicans and Tea Baggers have hit the limit on the Disgust-0-Meter, the numbers reset and I discover they can indeed go much higher!

To offset that, their approval numbers keep dropping. Heckuva job, GOP. Keep at it and you'll all find yourselves out of jobs, which would surely be good for the country.

She showed a calm and collected demeanor at about the same time I felt like rearranging Marsha Blackburn's face.

(much like today's event in MA) and explain how they got screwed by their Kansas legislature on Obamacare. In fact, the President should do a tour of every state that declined medicaid help and explain to the citizens how badly they were screwed by their Republican Governors and legislature. It will also provide a boost for the 2014 mid-terms for the Dems.

Also, Gov. Brownback is up in 2014 and already behind in the polls so time to drill down.

and explain that the Democratic controlled Senate passed it a long time ago but the House is holding it up and that their 4 House members (3 or which benefit greatly from crop subsidies) are insisting on taking food away from Seniors and mothers.

I read one of the local daily papers and they do not report what their Teabagger Cong. Huelskamp and the others are up to re: the Farm Bill. It is always reported that "the congress" (read that both Dems and Repubs) is to blame for not getting it done.
