laying the ground work for a Presidential run...So does Congress plan to try and amend the constitution between now and 2016 since Ted Cruz was born in Canada? So no one is or will challenge the citizenship issue? Or does this only apply to Democrats and birthers
challenging Cruz will be arrested?
Why hasn't anyone talked about Cruz's citizenship?

(6,994 posts)His dad is Cuban and din't think his Mom was an American living abroad they were/are Canadian citizens.
Anyway this certainly makes USA the laughing stock to the world having a Constitutional terrorist running for President.
And when I say terrorist it shows that while only being in the US Congress for 9 months all he has done is to try and destroy or tear up our constitution

Cruz, not half as smart or holy as he thinks, will be the butt of many jokes.

PS. You are an American citizen as long as you have American parents.

(6,994 posts)He might be able to step in the middle here and redeem himself with his party and even campaign with Cruz. After all they did name a portion of an Indiana highway after him (about a 1 mile stretch)

I don't think he can be an American citizen until his family pays back the cost of his birth with compound interest.
Surely Ted does not want the blemish of a socialist birth on his record.
Talk about starting out on the left foot.
