Why has the MSM gone f'ing crazy on hammering "the ACA website is broken" 24/7?

For ratings hungry MSM talking heads, the constant drone of repetition (i.e. Republicans and their constituents whining about the ACA website) and/or slamming Katherine Sebelius on The Hill seems to have reached a fevered pitch. IMO, it's gone off the charts in stupid TV.

Yes, the website had/has lots of problems - but the website is NOT the ACA! Faux News and co. think their feeding frenzy will change the will of the electorate, but a fucked up website can be repaired. While I'll agree that better oversight could have happened during construction, when it's mostly working AOK in 6 weeks - then what?

Do they really think a buggy website will result in the American people demanding the ACA itself be gutted!? This smoke and mirror bullshit is primarily being fed by reality TV that loves a good fight. When will they STF up?

Why doesn't the M$M start interviewing working parents who will not be able to feed their children soon because the Republicans and Tea Baggers are cutting food stamps?

Then point out that we're still paying subsidies to the oil industry?

How about that for a change?

The American people won't tolerate seeing starving children on their teevees for very long.

And many other states (like Washington, where I live) which has it's own exchange running pretty well.

I think the M$M and republican wingnuts know this story will only have legs for another few weeks, if that. When success is evident, they REALLY won't have anything. So then they will constuct another crisis to jack up the ratings

for reporters who likely know little more about internet technologies -- let alone the ACA! -- than the average viewer. Just toss out some meaningless geeky jargon, quote a few predictable gloom and doomsayers from the dire right, and -- POOF! -- we get another piece of craptastic, journalistic schlock.

problems - to enable you to move forward and show progress. Stupid of us to send this nebulous cloud out there - that it is a total mess. You can not recover from that and it takes hold and becomes part of the general consciousness.

Maybe the performance numbers are as bleak as shit. But, hoping that they start quantifying the issues soon.

They didn't have to, and there are plenty of DHS and SS offices around that could have managed the traffic with a beef-ed up staff. Or they could have just sent out packets to be mailed in, and handled questions over the phone, or somehow or other.

In any case, I just mailed in my enrollment form, and it wasn't hard.
